Most shop, workshop, and hybrid business owners we talked to had the same blind spot: they knew their daily revenue, they had a rough idea of their costs, but they couldn't say with confidence whether the month was actually profitable. Spreadsheets piled up, accounting software answered different questions, and the simple verdict — "am I making money?" — stayed out of reach.
ShopByJLC exists to close that gap. We turn the numbers a business already produces into the few KPIs that decide profitability, fast enough that checking your real margin becomes a daily habit instead of a year-end exercise.

Who's building it
ShopByJLC is built by Jean-Loïc Cyriaque (the J·L·C in the name) with a small distributed team across Cameroon and Europe. We come from retail, software engineering, and finance, and we use ShopByJLC ourselves on the side businesses that taught us how badly this tool was missing.
